The Acer TravelMate P243 notebook, complete with the company’s security and manageability solutions, has arrived in India with claims of providing an enhanced user experience and protecting saved data. The multitasking device is aimed at SMB professionals and boasts of keeping users productive while on the move.
The laptop is equipped with the third generation Intel Core processor with Turbo Boost and can carry out demanding tasks, thanks to its durable exterior. Its energy-efficient 14-inch LED backlit display features a 16:9 aspect ratio. The Nvidia GeForce GT 630M GPU works towards rendering decent graphics, while its HDMI port allows users to watch the device’s content on big screen HDTVs. Embedded with a USB 3.0 port, this Bluetooth and Wi-Fi-enabled notebook sports a Gigabit Ethernet output too.

This environment-conscious portable computer adheres to guidelines laid down by EPEAT and RoHS. It is fitted with the spill-resistant Acer FineTouch keyboard as well as a multi-gesture touchpad. Furthermore, the laptop has been deployed with software like Acer ProShield Security, Personal Secure Drive and Backup/eRecovery Manager and Acer Office Manager amongst others.
The Acer TravelMate P243 price in India is pegged at Rs. 36,000.
