Acer Liquid Z200 is an entry-level KitKat phone with optional dual SIM support

Entry-level KitKat phones are showing up in plenty these days and the Acer Liquid Z200 is another addition to the growing market. The handset comes with basic features and for some reason, the company is keeping mum about the hardware components which it will probably reveal at the Computex 2014 expo next week.

The Acer Liquid Z200 is aimed towards first-time smartphone customers. It sports a 4-inch WVGA display with optional dual SIM support. The handset comes with the Rapid button which can be used to carry out various tasks such as unlock the screen, launch the camera, answer calls or runs apps with a simple click. With Android 4.4 KitKat running the show, various enhancements have been thrown including the Qucik Mode profiles which alter the UI for differed types of users and age groups. They include Basic, Easy Senior, Classic and Keypad.

The company has also thrown in DTS Studio Sound and a 2MP main camera with Auto Smile Shot, Continuous Shot and Panorama.
