After being inactive for a few years in the Indian smartphone market, Acer has made its comeback with two very attractive handsets, the Liquid Jade and Liquid E700. Both phones are affordable releases and they fall in the mid-range segment with prices under Rs 17000.
The Acer liquid E700 is the cheaper of the two smartphones as it’s available for purchase at Rs 11998. This handset is quite an interesting one and it goes up against the new Moto G with some great features at its disposal, one of which certainly stands out. The device is triple SIM enabled and there’s HSPA+ support as well.
However, the company hasn’t clarified whether 3G is enabled on more than one SIM slot. The phone is powered by Android 4.4 KitKat with a 1.2GHz quad core MediaTek processor delivering the steam. And for visuals, there’s a 5-inch IPS LCD panel on the front with 720p HD resolution. A 2MP camera can also be found here, while the rear plays host to an 8MP shooter.
Coming to memory provisions, there’s 2GB RAM, 16GB storage and a microSD card slot. The phone also has a 3500mAh battery which is capable of up to 21 hours of talk time or around 800 hours of standby. The Liquid Jade is a more costly option at Rs 16999 and it offers slightly better features compared to the E700.
