The recently unveiled Acer Aspire Timeline Ultra M3 claims to be the first Ultrabook housing an Nvidia GeForce GT640M graphics card. It sports a slim 20mm chassis and may have already found a place on many ardent gamers’ wishlist.

The inclusion of the particular Nvidia card aims to proffer reduced power consumption and an enhanced content creation experience. A post on the official Nvidia blog shares that the GeForce GT640M is complete with Optimus technology and comes based on 28nm Kepler architecture. The portable PC also incorporates the latest Intel Core chip, an HDD and an SDD and it will ship with the SSD-only option as well.

With the Acer Green Instant-On feature, the system resumes in around 1.5 seconds from sleep mode, while the Instant Connect attribute allows users to access the internet in approximately 2.5 seconds. As is with the Timeline range, each notebook delivers about 8 hours of battery life on a single charge and the Aspire M3 entrant is no different in this case.

As for the hardware on the 15-inch 2-spindle Ultrabook, it integrates a DVD optical drive and Dolby Home Theater v4 along with enhanced speakers for entertainment buffs and audiophiles on the go. It also features a full-size chiclet keyboard and a numeric keypad. The device’s extremely sleek design has been draped with a black cover made from aluminum alloy to give it the required sturdiness with a stylish edge.

The Acer Aspire Timeline Ultra M3 price has not yet been spelled out, but it is expected to grace store shelves across the globe, within this month.
