A certain Korea-based conglomerate recently unveiled an 84-inch LG 3D UD TV that’s likely to go well with the stylish 3D glasses it unwrapped just recently. Scheduled to make its big appearance at the CES 2012, this device flaunts a slim form factor supported by a Magic Remote that can work with voice recognition and gesture control.
Firstly, the 84-inch 84-inch LG 3D UD TV portrays high quality pictures at a resolution of 3840 x 2160p or in 8 million pixels. To provide users with a theater-like 3D viewing experience, this full HD TV panel sports 3D Sound Zooming for better audio and 3D Depth control intelligence for adjusting the third dimensional effect. Fitted within the compact bezel design is the LG Smart TV ecosystem that features over 1,200 applications.
“LG is pushing the limits of home entertainment innovation with this 3D UD TV. We are bringing together all our Smart TV and 3D knowledge in the 3D UD TV in order to demonstrate to the CES audience that LG is committed to being the world’s leading brand for immersive home entertainment in 2012 and beyond,” expressed, Havis Kwon, President and CEO of LG Electronics Home Entertainment Company.
With the Smart TV platform, users will be able to access a large variety of content comprising of premium services and a wide catalog of 3D movies hosted in the 3D Zone. Additionally, normal videos can also be viewed in the third dimension with help from the integrated 2D to 3D conversion engine. Navigating through the ecosystem’s interface is said to be convenient with the Magic Remote. Viewers can input their commands in 4 different ways covering the Voice Recognition, Wheel, Magic Gesture and Point technologies.
The 84-inch LG 3D UD TV price has not been disclosed by the company as yet. However, the device is scheduled to make its first appearance at the CES 2012.
