The LG K3 which has come to Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile USA, is nothing much to write home about. It’s an entry-level smartphone with features that match its price of $80, because not everyone needs an expensive handset with the latest technology. It’s only being sold online at present.
You will be able to walk into a store and pick up a unit starting from next week. Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile USA (both owned by Sprint Corporation) are selling the LG K3 for $79.99 along with a bunch of attractive prepaid schemes. The latter has on offer three unlimited plans paired with limitless music streaming.
Additionally, subscribers who run out of data before the month’s over, can top up with $5 or $10 for 1GB or 2GB extra data, respectively. Boost Mobile has a Growing Data scheme in place for customers who make timely bill payments. This rewards system is available to those who sign up for the $35 Unlimited or $45 Unlimited plans.
For every 3 on-time payments, users are given 500MB of extra high speed data. They can earn up to 3GB of the same by settling their dues promptly 18 times. Alternately, subscribers can go with Boost’s $60 Unlimited monthly plan which is inclusive of unlimited high speed data. As for the specs of the LG K3, take a look at the list below.
