Those who wish to grab a scoop of the Ice Cream Sandwich platform but do not want to splurge on it, may like the latest Xtex My Tablet. This 7-inch tab comes in shades of black, pink or white and allows users to expand its storage up to 48GB using a memory card of 32GB capacity.

The compact and lightweight tablet dons a capacitive multi-touch display spanning 7 inches, which can render clear visuals in 800 x 480p resolutions. This extremely portable device packs in a CPU that processes at a speed of 1.5GHz, in addition to 1GB RAM, allowing users to launch multiple operations at once. Also, the slate ships with a 16GB internal hard drive and an expansion slot for a miniSD card.

Allen Kiehl, XP, Xtex, commented, “Everyone is walking around with a tablet device under their arms. The 10-inch tablet’s become a fashion accessory, like not so long ago when everybody wore cell phones clipped to their belt. 10-inch tablets are too big, while 5-inch models are too small, like squinting at a smartphone screen. The My Tablet 7-inch is just right. Not only is it about the size of a paperback book and ultra-slim to slip easily into a jacket or back pocket, but also it’s loaded with features for convenience and on-the-go connectivity.”

Needless to say, users can browse through the web and access the Google Play Store from this slate.
