7-inch Lenovo A7-30 with 3G support launched in India for below Rs 10K

The Lenovo A7-30 tablet has been officially launched in India carrying a price tag of Rs 9,979 and as the name suggests, the slate will fall in the 7-inch category. The device is currently being offered for pre-order through the company’s online store and what’s interesting is that the shipping date is listed as June 16 which has already passed.

The Lenovo A7-30 offers 3G cellular support with HSPA+ 21Mbps compatible radios. And like its A7-50 sibling that’s priced at Rs 14,990, there voice calling support onboard as well. The 7-inch display here has 1024 x 600p resolution and a TN multi-touch panel to reduce the cost. Accompanying the screen are dual stereo speakers powered by Dolby audio and a 0.3MP fixed-focus camera, while the rear sports a 2MP snapper.

Lenovo A7-30

Like the A7-50, the device runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. However, this one hasn’t received any confirmation about being updated to version 4.4 KitKat as yet. The same 1.3GHz quad core MTK 8382 processor based on the Cortex A7 delivers the steam here and there’s 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage and a 32GB compatible microSD card slot for memory needs. The tablet is loaded with a 3500mAh Li-Po batter that’s estimated to provide up to 2 weeks of standby or around 8 hours of usage.
