40000 units of Lenovo A6000 snapped up in merely 2 seconds

The Lenovo A6000 smartphone has been making waves ever since it was released in India this January, and today’s flash sale of this handset gave another demonstration of this fact. A total of 40000 units of this device managed to go out of stock on Flipkart in merely 2 seconds.

The company had decided against putting the Lenovo A6000 up for sale last week due to shortage of supply. However, it bounced back this week by offering a larger than ever stock of 40000 handsets that were happily grabbed by Indian customers in 2 seconds.

The A6000 impresses not only with a low price of just Rs 6999, but also with its advanced hardware that includes a 5-inch HD display and a 64-bit 1.2GHz quad core Snapdragon 410 processor. This Android 4.4 KitKat smartphone also features 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage that can be expanded further up to 32GB.

There’s an 8MP rear camera onboard the A6000, apart from a 2MP front snapper. Powering the handset from within is a 2300mAh battery which despite its size, manages to keep its weight down to a light 128gms.
