The price in the US of the 32GB Oppo Find 5 has gone live along with the information that it will make its global debut in 2013’s first quarter. Initially, the China-based company had only revealed that the phone is coming stateside with 16GB of memory and will be made available through carriers like T-Mobile, AT&T and Simple Mobile in the country.
The Find 5 will be unveiled in China in January, that’s next month. Through its Facebook page, Oppo has announced that users in nations like Canada, Australia, Germany, Spain, the UK, France, Belgium, Sweden, Finland, Malaysia, Singapore, Greece, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Japan, Norway and Denmark can also await the device’s arrival. It will even grace store shelves in a number of other countries across the globe, confirms Engadget. As mentioned above, its global launch date will fall sometime in the first quarter of the next year.
According to the company, the smartphone can deliver crystal clear images in realistic colors, thanks to the OGS technology which works in conjunction with touch sensors of the display. It offers multi-touch real estate of 5 inches and can render pictures in 1080p resolution with a pixel density of 441ppi. The comfortable-to-hold device’s bezel measures merely 3.25mm in thickness.
And what’s more, the task of maintaining an intuitive user interface has been assigned to the Android Jelly Bean v4.1 platform, while there’s 2GB of RAM for smooth navigation. The 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 APQ8064 processor is responsible for allowing users to launch multiple applications at the same time. The handset even employs the Adreno 320 GPU which should work towards delivering enhanced graphics when opening demanding applications and games.
Snap-happy people will appreciate the device’s 13MP rear camera, capable of recording high definition videos. A front-mounted webcam can be used for engaging in video conferencing over the internet. It is fueled by a 2500mAh battery that should keep the gadget charged for an entire day.
The 32GB Oppo Find 5 will be available for $569 and its 16GB version costs $499 in the US.
