Looking to buy a new Android tablet? Well, you’re in luck because the 2013 edition Nexus 7 is available for just $189.99 with 32GB of onboard storage. The slate is the Wi-Fi-only version and it’s currently listed with the said price on eBay in limited quantities.
Spotted by Android Police, the seller is offering a $80 discount on the retail price of $270 for the 32GB Nexus 7 Wi-Fi model. Shipping is free as well, and you can opt for the additional 2-year Square Trade warranty for $37.99 more. The seller hasn’t mentioned how many units it has in stock, but so far 538 slates have been sold in 24 hours.
The report also highlights that the device is a band new one and not a refurbished tablet which can be picked up through eBay for around the same amount. The benefits of having a Nexus 7 are that you get a pure Android experience with no bloatware from carriers and OEMs, and the slate will have the latest Android release not long after it’s launched by Google. The main downside is that you’ll have limited storage as there’s no microSD card slot.
