320GB WD My Passport Essential Portable USB Drives introduced

WD 320GB My Passport Essential Portable USB Drive Western Digital has come out with new My Passport Essential Portable USB Drives which feature a glossy black finish. It is available in 32oGB of storage capacity.

The My Passport Essential Portable USB drive is very compact and weighs less than 5 ounces. Further, since they are bus powered, they do not require an external power adapter.

Also, it is quipped with sync and encryption software which is compatible with only Windows. The WD Sync software allows users to take desktop content with they by simplifying the synchronization of essential personal files and Microsoft Outlook data on a PC.

Google software pre-loaded on the My Passport Essential Drive allows users to quickly locate files with the Google Desktop Search tool, manage photos with Picasa photo organizer software and simplify Web searches with the Google Toolbar search bar.

Further, if users happen to misplace this drive, they will feel relieved to know that their data is protected with 128-bit encryption.
