Huawei is also following the same flash sale approach used by its peers for its new Honor 4X smartphone in India and it looks like the company is off to a good start. Demand for the handset in question seems to be strong as a total of 100000 potential customers have already registered for the sale and over a period of only 24 hours.
The Huawei Honor 4X is successor to the Honor 3X from last year and it brings in various improvements. The handset not only falls in the phablet category, but also offers a very attractive design wrapped around appealing hardware. It will compete with the Yu Yureka and Redmi Note 4G and will do so with a higher price tag of Rs 10499.
The Huawei handset is powered by a 1.2GHz quad core Snapdragon 410 64-bit processor and Android 4.4 KitKat runs the show here layered with the company’s own EMUI 3.0 interface. The display is a 5.5-inch 720p HD IPS LCD touchscreen and is accompanied by a 5MP selfie camera.
On the rear, there’s a 13MP shooter with an LED flash. The phone offers 2GB and 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded by up to 32GB via a microSD card slot. Other features of the Honor 4X include dual mic noise reduction, dual SIM support with 4G LTE and a 3000mAh battery.
