The iPhone 7 has triggered a massive debate centered around the removal of the headphone jack and introduction of Apple’s wireless AirPods. Many have made fun of the fact that the brand has seemingly just cut off the wires from the regular EarPods and slapped a $159 price tag on them.
No matter what your opinion is on the iPhone 7‘s AirPods, one concern that’s on everyone’s minds is how people are going to stop themselves from losing the accessory without helpful wires to keep track of their location. Earbuds have a tendency to fall out at any moment and not having the support of a cable could spell hours of trying to find a lost AirPod.
Spigen has now come up with a solution to this dilemma called the AirPods Strap. As the name suggests, the product simply attaches itself to the earphones and keeps the two buds connected. Buying a pair of wireless accessories only to join them together with a strip sounds ridiculous, since they negate the entire point of buying them in the first place.

However, there might just be a market for the strap given the aforementioned issues people have highlighted with the AirPods. Spigen’s offering might seem like a necessary compromise for individuals who don’t want to risk losing their very expensive earphones and don’t mind a wire running along their neck.
The Spigen AirPods Strap is currently available via Amazon and will set you back by $9.99 only. It’s set to begin shipping from October 17 pending patent approval.
