Hutch Introduces ‘Borrow Talktime’ Scheme, transfer your Talktime to your buddies’ Hutch number
Hutch has announced a new plan “Borrow Talktime”, solely for its prepaid customers located in Delhi. Through this scheme Hutch prepaid subscribers will be able to transfer talktime from their numbers to other local Hutch prepaid numbers.
Sanjoy Mukerji, operations director - Hutch, Delhi, said that if one has the validity - all it requires to stay mobile is to borrow talktime from friends and family, which in turn can help keep cellphone usage in check.
Under the “Borrow Talktime” scheme in order to transfer talktime to a Hutch prepaid number, the user needs to type bal (space) receiver’s Hutch number (space) amount to be transferred, and send it as an SMS to 144.
For the subscriber who transfers his/her balance, there is no service charge applicable; however a transfer charge of Rs 5 will be levied. The lowest balance transfer is Rs 50, which can be increased beyond that amount.
