Reliance Intros New Scheme Amidst the various schemes introduced by various wireless companies at the fall of 2005, Reliance adds one more to the offer at the dawn of the new year. Reliance Infocomm has announced its ‘One-Nation, One Tariff scheme.

Under this offer, calls from Reliance IndiaMobile prepaid anywhere-to-anywhere across India will cost one rupee per minute.

While announcing the program, S P Shukla, President - Wireless, Reliance Infocomm said, “It’s our New Year gift to our millions of subscribers. They can now exchange greetings without worrying much about the calling rate. Reliance has always been known for its customer-friendly tariffs. Coming close on the heels of the Lifetime Validity Voucher, this aggressive plan will further increase the options for our subscribers.”

The One Nation Tariff will be applicable on e-Recharge of Rs 1,100, inclusive of service tax. This e-Recharge comes packaged with 1,100 free SMSs that can be sent to any number within the state.

A similar plan is available for postpaid subscribers on New Joy 499. They can make calls anywhere around the country to any mobile or fixed line phone at one rupee a minute. They can also call any Reliance IndiaMobile within the State at 40 paise a minute.

The new plan comes close on the heels of Reliance Infocomm’s Rs 180 SMS top-up voucher that allows 18,000 SMS that can be sent in the six months.
