Stay Connected Forever Now With Your Hutch Prepaid
Telecom service providers have always been in the competition scenario and this time too they are not far behind. Just recently we reported about Airtel launching its lifetime-prepaid-card scheme and following suit we get the news that Hutch too has announced a life-time validity scheme for its pre-paid subscribers at Rs 999.
A statement issued by the Hutch said that with the company’s new “Chalta Rahe” re- charge, pre-paid users across the country can go mobile for life by making a one-time payment of Rs 999.
Hutch’s offering can be availed by both existing and new subscribers. Those opting for “Chalta Rahe” recharge will pay Rs 1.99 per minute for all local calls, and Rs 2.99 per minute for all STD calls. The scheme comes bundled with Rs 25 worth, in-built talk time.
As regards “Chalta Rahe,” Naveen Chopra, corporate vice president - group marketing, Hutchison Essar, expressed the view that this innovation would bring in a remarkable change in the mobile industry, and that going mobile would now become much more affordable.

we recharged life time offer voucher, when pressing *367 to know the balance and end period of prepaid - the voice is comming as “your prepaid account will be stopped on 3rd january 2010″ instead of “your prepaid account will be continued life time”. Then, life time means 04 years.

Hi,
The reason you are getting a reply stating that your prepaid account will be discontinued on 03.01.2010 is because the Company systems have been updated only till the year 2010. We have gone ahead and confirmed this information with Hutch aswell. So you needn’t worry, the validity is lifelong and DOES NOT expire in 2010.

I am the subscriber of Hutch Prepaid of AP. From Last 7 days every one is having a problem to use the phone. we cannot talk on hutch phone in the evening time. Most of the calls have the same reply “Network Busy” Can u please tell us. why their is a problem and when it would be solved.

Dear Sir/s,
This is to bring to your notice that you are wrongfully deducting money from your customers with no prior intimation which is punishable under ‘Consumer protection Act’ also.
In the last week of December’06, I had been with my family to Silvassa for 2days.
During my stay, I got a call on my mobile(9820997962). After an hour I discovered that roaming activation charge of Rs.49 had been deducted. There was no message, no prior intimation by mail, SMS or by post, you just deducted the money.
After I called an officer, he said that it was a recent system that has been introduced but had no answer as to why I had no been intimated. He asked me to deactivate by sending an SMS which I did. This was followed by an SMS from your side saying NR has been deactivated.
After I came back, it has been more than one whole month now, when suddenly the monthly roaming charge has been deducted again with no intimation whatsoever.
I want an explanation from you as to why this kind of illegitimate deductions are being done by the Company where an innocent customer had entrusted his faith.
If I do not receive your reply, I will see that no stone is unturned to get justice.

Hi Kiran,
It depends on the lifetime scheme that you have gone in for. There are 2 lifetime schemes: the ‘99′ one and a ‘999′ one.
If you have taken the 99 scheme, then you need to simply send a message CAN EASY to 144 and the scheme will be automatically cancelled.
If you have gone in for the 999 scheme, then you need to take another postpaid scheme, use it for 45 days and after that you can get back to any normal prepaid scheme.

I had taken an prepaid connection from bangalore.
The person who gave it to me assured that it has international roaming activated but whe I came to UK i see that four networks are listed in my phone but there is @ NO Acess @ to any of thoose!!

To know that that option is available in your plan just call
222 and it will take you to IVRS(internal voice response system) just
press 4 it is for family and friends, first option will be to know your
family and friends number and 4 is to add the family and friends you can
add three hutch numbers and think you can change at any time by
pressing 3 it is for modifying your family and friends number , hope
this will help you or just buy a 75 recharge card (10 paise scheme) to
all hutch number it is free

i am using hutch prepaid one year card and i activated GPRS before two month. but till this moment i am unable to browse my gprs and tried lot of time your customer care. they send settings and i saved properly again it shows that “packet data connection not available & connection not available. Every month deducting concerned amount from my balance also. Please give me a proper response . Give me how to deactivate GPRS connection ?

I have a hutch prepaid account. My phone no. is 9884838824.
I made a top-up for Rs.98 on 23rd April not knowing about the new 98rs scheme introduced.
This payment was done through netbanking. Since, the amount was not credited to my account, I made 3 more similar payments.
And finally, when I called up customer care, I was informed about the scheme.
I was also told that since the payment was done through netbanking, I’ll neither enter the scheme nor get any talktime for the money paid.
So, now I’ve availed the 98rs scheme 4 times in less than 3 days. This mistake has happened primarily becoz we customers are not aware of the new scheme introduced
and secondly, I didnt receive any message that I’ve entered a particular scheme when I made the top-up.
So, now that I have paid 4 times for a single scheme, I want the money that I have paid extra 3 times, to be refunded to my account.
Pl look into this issue.
Paying for a single scheme 4 times in less than 3 days is not at all acceptable.

I am the user of your prepaid and post paid connection. The prepaid connection was incoming lifetime free taken two months back. Now I get the message that the “SIM IS REJECTED” in the prepaid connection. Could I know the reason and what about the money paid. I met the dealer through whom I got the connection and Iwas told that a fresh SIM would be issued and I’LL have to pay a certain amunt. Why need I pay for no fault of mine.
