Vodafone to distribute iPhones in 10 New Countries, including Australia
Vodafone has entered a deal with Apple, wherein the British mobile phone giant will now sell the iPhone in 10 of its markets worldwide.
Excluding the markets in which the iPod-mobile phone wonder is already available, Vodafone, which is the world’s largest mobile-phone company, will sell the device in Australia, the Czech Republic, Egypt, Greece, Italy, India, Portugal, New Zealand, South Africa and Turkey, later in 2008.
At present Apple’s iPhone is officially available in the United States, Britain, France, Germany, Ireland and Austria.
Meanwhile, the latest buzz is that T-Mobile Austria could be the lucky operator to get its hands on the iPhone to test the 3G version of the device.
