Adobe releases Photoshop Lightroom 2 Software

Adobe’s Photoshop software has always been to boon to digital photographers. It not only made it simple to edit graphics for professional photographers but also for beginners and enthusiasts.

Adobe announced to release the latest version of the Photoshop Lighroom 2. The new Lightroom 2 will help photographers to manage, adjust and present large volumes of digital images.

The Lightroom 2 features powerful Library Filter Bar that smartly manages photographers’ workflows with the ability to visually organize images across multiple hard drives. On the other hand the new dual-monitor support will offer flexibility to the work.

Moreover the latest Photoshop Lightroom version also incorporates additional innovative features like Local Adjustment Brush. The new Local Adjustment Brush offers users to fine-tune specific areas of an image to precisely adjust color, exposure and tonal range without affecting other areas of the image. Graduated Filter and Intelligent algorithms are some of the other new features of the Photoshop Lightroom 2.

“A worldwide community of photographers provided valuable insight and feedback, as part of the Lightroom 2 public beta program, ultimately helping us deliver a better product,” said Tom Hogarty, senior product manager for Lightroom and Camera Raw at Adobe. “We’ve considered their requests which helped us develop useful features that make it easier than ever for our customers to quickly refine, enhance and present brilliant photographs.”

In addition Adobe Photoshop Lighroom 2 also offers support for flexible camera profiles. With the help of the camera profiles, photographers gain an advantage to create highly customized profiles to suit their tastes.

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 2 is available at the Adobe Store at www.adobe.com/store in English, French and German while, the Japanese edition is expected to be released soon. The software is priced at USD$299 for new users, existing users can get an upgrade for USD$99.
