Sanyo and Corel have jointly announced that customers will be entitled to the Ulead DVD MovieFactory 5SE on purchase of Sanyo Xacti DMX-HD1000 digital movie camera.

This full HD camera is supposed to be the world’s smallest and lightest in the world. Now that it comes bundled with Corel’s Ulead DVD MovieFactory 5SE software, users will be able to import, edit and convert their HD movies and store them as well.

According to Jeff Hastings, President and General Manager, Digital Media at Corel, “Corel is pleased Sanyo has selected Ulead DVD MovieFactory for its Xacti DMX-HD1000. Sanyo has focused on the consumer with its new small and light camcorder making it easier to shoot video any place at any time.”

Ulead DVD MovieFactory 5SE for the ergonomic Sanyo Xacti DMX-HD1000 allows users to import and edit full HD (1920×1080) MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 movies shot with the DMX-HD1000.

Further, users of the software will be able to share their projects with others and view them on TV screens in High Definition. What’s more; even high resolution photos taken with the Xacti DMX-HD1000 can be exported as MPEG2-HD files at 1440×1080 or 1920×1080 resolutions.

“Bundling Ulead DVD MovieFactory completes the positive user experience by removing the complexity of HD video and making it fun, fast and easy to import, convert and edit HD video so consumers can quickly share their memories with family and friends,” added Hastings.

Sanyo DI Company’s DI Project Manager Hideki Toyoda also added, “The file formats for the Xacti series are Internet- and PC-friendly. By bundling the Ulead DVD MovieFactory, DMX-HD1000 will become a solution for a more accessible and enjoyable movie lifestyle.”
