Now, Xbox 360 owners will get to directly access CinemaNow video downloads. CinemaNow is a one-stop-shop for downloadable Hollywood movies and TV shows.

The company has just released an upgraded version of its ‘Media Manager’ software which enables one to download, manage and playback video content. Not only that, the company’s Burn-to-DVD service is also compatible with Windows Vista.

CinemaNow has made this move in an effort to ensure that content purchased through its site can be viewed on multiple platforms ranging from PCs to TVs to portable devices like video game consoles.

According to Curt Marvis, CEO of CinemaNow, “CinemaNow is on a mission to enable simple and fast integration into our customers’ lives. This upgrade alone makes our entire library of more than 7,000 videos available to the millions of Xbox users who are downloading movies online and watching them on their TVs.”

The upgraded version of CinemaNow’s Media Manager now downloads to a user’s PC on either the purchase or rent of a video. Besides, this software now has the ability to detect an Xbox 360 console on a customer’s home network.

All one has to do is select a video, download it on to a Windows XP or Windows Vista PC, and then play it back on a TV using the Xbox 360 as a connective device.

Using the newly added Burn-to-DVD service which is available to Vista users, one can choose select movies to burn a video to a DVD for playback in a standard DVD player.

What’s more; besides integrating its services with the PC, CinemaNow is now merging with even more connected devices such as set top boxes, video game consoles and personal media players PMPs, which all have the ability to connect to TVs.

Besides, CinemaNow’s Web site is compatible with the latest Wi-Fi PMPs from Archos which allow users to wirelessly download CinemaNow videos directly to their PMPs and then stream then on to a TV.

CinemaNow is also integrated with HP’s soon-to-be released line of MediaSmart LCD TVs, enabling customers to rent or purchase Hollywood movies directly from their living room.
