Adobe Creative Suite 3 now available in India
Yesterday, Adobe India announced that its Adobe Creative Suite 3 product line has been released in the Indian market. The Adobe Creative Suite 3 comprises Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium and Design Standard editions, Adobe Creative Suite 3 Web Premium and Web Standards editions, and Adobe Creative Suite 3 Production Premium.

Apparently, India’s Research & Development teams contributed significantly to the delivery of this software release.

Adobe Creative Suite 3 offers six new suites or full version upgrades of 13 stand-alone applications, including Photoshop CS3, Photoshop CS3 Extended, InDesign CS3, Illustrator CS3, Flash CS3 Professional, Dreamweaver CS3, Premiere Pro CS3, and After Effects CS3.
The six configurations of Creative Suite 3 includes Design Premium and Standard editions; Web Premium and Standard editions; and Production Premium.
Each of the editions of Creative Suite 3 integrates different configurations of Adobe’s creative products to serve a breadth of design needs.
Rounding out the product line is Creative Suite 3 Master Collection that combines 12 new creative applications in one box, enabling customers to design across all media - print, Web, interactive, mobile, video, and film.
The other shared features across the product line includes an updated version of Bridge CS3, the hub of Creative Suite, providing instant access to Version Cue CS3, Acrobat Connect, and an expanded Stock Photos service.
The majority of Adobe Creative Suite 3 editions will be available as Universal applications for both PowerPC and Intel-based Macs, and will support Microsoft Windows XP and Vista.
The Creative Suite 3 Design Premium and Standard, Web Premium and Standard editions will be available at an estimated street price of $1,799 (Rs 75,225); $1,199 (Rs 50,136); $1,599 (Rs 66,862); and $999 (Rs 41,773) respectively from authorized resellers and the Adobe store.
