Helios Software has announced that it has developed a new WebShare UB+ software, which supports remote document previewing and customer collaboration using the new Apple iPhone. The latest product will be demonstrated at the Graph Expo, in September 9-12, in Chicago, IL at Booth #5432.

Germany-based Helios is a developer of cross-platform networking, PDF, and image server solutions for Mac, Windows, and web clients.

The Helios WebShare UB+ along with Apple’s iPhone can support easy yet highly secure remote access and previewing of images, layout documents, PDFs, and print jobs for printers, print buyers, ad agencies and sales people.

The company claims that with the Helios WebShare UB+ software, users are sure to get a highly secure file server for web clients, enabling easy remote file access and management. Customized interfaces can be set up for different groups or users, and WebShare UB+ action scripts make possible remote processing of files. WebShare UB+ integrates with HELIOS ImageServer UB+, PDF HandShake UB+ and PrintPreview UB+ for remote viewing of images, QuarkXPress and Adobe InDesign documents, and PDF files, with proper rendering of transparencies, plus image conversion, PDF preflighting, and accurate color-matched print job proofing.

In addition, the software has a simple user interface, automatic support for low and high resolution previews, and high-performance HELIOS ZIP-stream downloads, WebShare UB+ facilitates remote collaboration and approval.
