Babylon Translation software On Wednesday, software translation company, Babylon unveiled its newest translation software, Babylon 6. “The need for communication in foreign languages has increased significantly in the last few years due to the high adoption rates of Computers and the Internet. Our mission is to provide people with a powerful translation solution that is both simple and intuitive to use,” Babylon Vice President of Marketing and Sales Alon Carmeli said via a company statement.

“Babylon 6 offers yet another breakthrough in helping users to easily and efficiently translate full texts and instantly receive valuable content from a wide range of authoritative sources, maintaining Babylon’s renowned single click ease of use,” Carmeli continued.

Babylon 6 is the world’s leading dictionary and language translation software at the moment. This is because other translation software services often yield the gist of a sentence or document rather than precise translations, and they often include noticeable errors.

Babylon offers you the most intuitive tool for all your translation needs. With Babylon you can quickly translate emails, web pages, documents, instant messages, and more. All you have to do is click on the word or text that you want to translate and a small window instantly appears with the desired results from Babylon’s extensive database of language dictionaries, glossaries and conversion tools. This software can translate in 17 languages.

The company also boasts the inclusion of several dictionaries and links to Wikipedia in nine languages, an improved spell check and millions of words not included in earlier editions.

Babylon plans to roll out the program throughout the month of May, with events planned in Germany, Spain, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Japan and Brazil. Download a trial version of Babylon 6 here.
