12 New IBM Rational Version 7 Products released in India by IBM

IBM logo IBM India has announced twelve new IBM Rational version 7 products, the latest line-up of software delivered via the IBM Software Development Platform.

The twelve new version 7 products include IBM Rational Build Forge, IBM Rational ClearQuest, IBM Rational ClearCase, IBM Rational ClearQuest and Functional Testing, IBM Rational Portfolio Manager, IBM Rational Purify Plus, IBM Rational Requisite Pro, IBM Rational Robot, IBM Rational Rose, IBM Rational Rose Real-Time, IBM Rational Team Unifying Platform, and IBM Tivoli Provisioning Manager.

The company claims that its latest IBM Rational Software Development Platform products allows greater innovation by automating the software testing process and tracking changes made to software code. As a result, development, test and production teams can better team up and break down silos for improved delivery times, lowered costs, and greater software quality.

The solutions build up users’ ability to manage geographically distributed development, meet regulatory compliance demands and support SOAs.

Steve Robinson, Vice President, IBM WW Sales, Rational Software, Software Group said, “When software development is managed as a business process it becomes a driver of innovation and competitive advantage. Governing the development process allows organizations to take an integrated approach to software development that aligns line-of-business, development and operations teams to improve overall business performance.”

IBM said that with the IBM Rational Software Development Platform products, it has released a standard of business discipline that lets even the least-technical executives to exercise appropriate management to make sure that business objectives are being met, even at the development level of the organization.

The new IBM Rational Software Development Platform solutions allow institutions to manage their software development as a business process through Globally Distributed Development.
