Just after a few days after Apple issued its iTunes 6 Windows security update, some more bugs have surfaced.

A security research firm issued a warning when it found a critical vulnerability in some versions of Apple iTunes software that a hacker may exploit to remotely take over a user’s computer.

eEye Digital Security said that the latest iTunes bug runs on all operating systems including Windows XP and Mac OS X. This new flaw allows malicious hackers to initiate arbitrary code remotely, which in turn can take control of a user’s computer.

eEye Digital Security does not provide details on the flaws it finds until a vendor releases a patch to resolve the security flaw and its Apple’s policy of not discussing or confirming security issues until it has conducted an investigation and issued any needed patches. So Apple user may have to wait patiently till Apple finishes its investigation.
