In its January report, “Forrester Wave: Enterprise Antispyware, Q1 2006â€? has called McAfee Inc as the Leader for its strong management and reporting capabilities, announced McAfee.

According to the report, McAfee leads in enterprise anti-spyware and scored well across all three of the Forrester categories for its current offering, company strategy and market presence.

The report considers McAfee AntiSpyware Enterprise an apt selection for any company looking to set up client security, further validating McAfee’s position in the market to deliver an integrated, comprehensive solution for system security.

The report evaluated and positioned eight vendors that offer enterprise anti-spyware solutions that stand alone or part of a client security suite. As part of the assessment, Forrester evaluated McAfee AntiSpyware Enterprise against approximately 105 criteria using vendor surveys, product demonstrations and customer reference calls. The results revealed that what sets McAfee apart from the rest is its distinguishable strength in the protection against unknown spyware.

According to the Forrester Wave report, McAfee Leads In Enterprise Antispyware, Forrester Research Inc., January 2006, “McAfee’s client security offering is top-notch,” said Natalie Lambert, research analyst with Forrester. She added, “It offers customers the full protection of antivirus, anti-spyware, personal firewalls and host IPS in a single agent. With McAfee’s focus entirely on security, McAfee customers will not need to worry about the priorities of their security vendor.”

In the June 2005 “Forrester Wave: Client Security Suites: Q2 2005,” report too, McAfee had been zeroed as a Leader for its client security portfolio, management features and strong architecture.
