The New Cuter Looking Actroid Female Robot Revealed
Japanese animatronics company Kokoro specializing in robotics has unveiled the Actroid DER2 fembot, the successor to the Actroid DER.
The Actroid DER2 is slightly thinner and more attractive looking and also delivers more expressions as compared to the first one. Infact she is so real that there are times when you actually mistake her for being an actual human being. Its limbs, torso and facial expressions are controlled by a system of actuators powered by pneumatic pressure. Though the female robot can still not walk around, she can choreograph her motions and gestures with her voice.
And incase you all are just about scratching you head as to why she’s wearing the Hello Kitty T-Shirt, here’s some trivia on that. Kokoro now belongs to the Sanrio Group, who is responsible for the Hello Kitty stuff filling up the globe.
