The new 22-inch 120Hz prototype display offers rich, colorful, blur-free video performance on traditional gaming, entertainment and graphic applications. Mozilla Labs has announced its new open-source experiment called Ubiquity. Available as a Firefox plugin, Ubiquity is aimed at simplifying web related tasks. Ubiquity allows average users to easily create mashups without any advance knowledge.

Aza Raskin, head of user experience at Mozilla, said in a blog post, “Most people do not have an easy way to manage the vast resources of the Web to simplify their task at hand. For the most part they are left trundling between web sites, performing common tasks resulting in frustration and wasted time.”

Mozilla says Ubiquity is an experiment into connecting the Web with language in an attempt to find new user interfaces that could make it possible for everyone to do common Web tasks more quickly and easily.

The new games from Nintendo added to Wii Shop Channel will release at 9 am Pacific time every Monday. The new games for this week include Helix for the WiiWare and YS Book I & II and Samurai Showdown 2 for Virtual Console.

HTC today launched its new S740 smartphone successor of the HTC S730. The new phone sports a slim, stylish look and is wrapped in a matt black. It comes with a traditional 12-keys keypad and a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

The HTC S740 phone features the fastest mobile broadband capabilities with a maximum download speed of 7.2 Mbps, which is up to 18 times faster than 3G.
