Sony Ericsson Aspen Windows mobile phone, latest in GreenHeart portfolio

Sony Ericsson’s GreenHeart range adds yet another ‘green’ phone to its family. Screaming green credentials to the core, the company launches the Aspen business mobile phone. Yes, prosumers now have one more green choice when picking on a Windows phone.
Besides being encompassed with the Windows platform, the highlights of the phone include a QWERTY keyboard and finger friendly touch for maximized messaging. This new addition to the GreenHeart lineup should further enable effortless multi-tasking and organization. Users can adapt panels to transform during the day and also employ Slide View to gain instant access to common attributes.

The novel phone claims to make viewing and editing of office files a breeze while its one touch operation renders it comfortable. Enabling users to access the internet in one click, the phone’s QWERTY keyboard has been fashioned for fast and easy typing. Including a simple email set up, the phone’s contents can be secured via the Microsoft MyPhone service. The service claims the ability to remotely erase phone data when on losing the handset.
Users will also be offered the choice to stay connected to the fun parts of life. This includes accessing fun applications at PlayNow like games and innovative music. Through the Media Browser, users should be able to access music, photos and videos. With a social network tool that includes Windows Live Messenger and Facebook, the phone supports HSPA 900/2100 and EDGE 850/900/1800/1900, HSPA 850/900/2100 and EDGE 850/900/1800/1900.
Besides the truckload of features, the human curvature fabrication of the phone enables it to typically fit into the palm of the hand. The optional extra Bluetooth Noise Shield Handsfree VH700 for creation of a personal phone booth and Energy Saving Mini-Charger EP800 for charging the phone in an eco-friendly manner are some accessories proffered. Additional features include a 2.4 inches 240 x 320 pixels (QVGA) 65,536 color TFT screen, 3.2 megapixel camera, 3.5mm jack, Bluetooth technology, Google Maps, Micro USB connector, A-GPS, Wi-Fi and more.
In Iconic Black and White Silver colors, the Sony Ericsson phone Aspen will be available in selected markets from Q2, 2010. There’s no word on the price of the phone.
