Fans of the previously released Omnia Pro and Omnia HD are in for yet another treat from the makers. Samsung has announced the launch of another device in their popular Omnia line dubbed Omnia II GT 18000. The multimedia-capable handset sports a full-touch screen with a 3D UI and 3G connectivity.
The GT 18000 has a 3.7 inch bright AMOLED full touch screen with a Cubic UI and Advanced Touch wiz. Owners can navigate through tasks smoothly with the motion-enabled applications like the 3D photo album, video library, FM radio UI and browser bookmarks. The phone’s 8GB memory capacity can be expanded to 40GB worth of data storage with a 32GB card.

The gadget’s 5MP camera makes for a snappy feature with its dual-power LED flash and photo capturing abilities that are claimed to be on par with the average digital camera. Photos and videos can be shared easily on Facebook, MySpace, Flickr and similar networking sites with the HSUPA 5.76MB/s and 3G Wi-Fi connectivity that the device offers.
With the Windows 6.1 operating system, users can access and edit MS-Office documents and also avail of Push e-mail with Microsoft Active Sync. Owners have access to H.264 YouTube video streaming features enabled by the Streaming Video Player via pre-loaded and downloadable Online Mobile Widgets. Music aficionados may sing or record music, access album art, lyrics and buy songs from online sources too.
The Omnia II GT 18000 comes with a price tag that reads at Rs.28,990.
