Nokia has released two new handsets in the Indian market. The Nokia 2600 Classic and Nokia 1209 are the new additions, which are targeted at consumers seeking a varying combination of features, design and value.

The Nokia 2600 Classic features customizable colorful, fully changeable Xpress-on covers and MP3 ringtones. Moreover, the phone sports a number of entertainment attributes, including an integrated FM radio and a VGA camera. The Nokia 2600 also supports MMS and Nokia Xpress Audio Messaging, for recording and editing messages while on-the-go.

On the other hand, Nokia 1209 offers additional cost management features to make phone sharing easy and convenient. The phone sports prepaid tracker application that allows as many as five people to store personal contact lists of up to 200 numbers on a single phone. Besides, the Nokia 1209 comes with power saver mode that enables extending the talktime.

“Nokia is consistently working towards understanding consumer needs and aspirations and bringing out devices that fulfill these requirements,” said Devinder Kishore Director, Marketing, Nokia India.

The Nokia 2600 Classic is available in the Indian market at Rs. 3539 while the Nokia 1209 will carry a price tag of Rs. 1789.
