MySpace Mobile now available on Sprint Networks in the US

MySpace Mobile logo Social network MySpace will now be available on mobile phones. Sprint customers in the US will be the first to access MySpace Mobile on all Web-enabled Sprint handsets.

This means that Sprint customers will be able to access MySpace Mobile’s innovative tool set. They will be able to edit their MySpace profiles, view and add friends, post blogs and bulletins, send/receive MySpace messages and a whole lot more using MySpace Mobile.

According to Brandon Lucas, senior director of mobile business development, “Mobile is the next generation of social networking. Our partnership with Sprint makes it easier and faster for customers to get the most out of MySpace when they’re on the go.”

In order to access MySpace Mobile on Sprint networks, customers have to simply open the Web browser on their phone, select ‘Messaging’ and then click on the MySpace Mobile link.

Listed below are the salient features of MySpace Mobile:

  • Reading, composing and replying to Mail including MySpace messages and the ability to view and manage friend requests.
  • Viewing Photo Albums
  • Viewing friends
  • Searching for Friends
  • Posting comments and Blog entries
  • MySpace Mobile is included in Sprint’s unlimited mobile Web use offer for no additional charge in the network provider’s new $99 Simply Everything plan which features unlimited calling, messaging and data.
