Samsung Ace Smartphone announced by Sprint in the US
Samsung Mobile together with network provider Sprint has announced the sleek Samsung Ace smartphone. It offers a host of great features including business and personal email, Web browsing and multimedia capabilities, all in a slim and compact body.
The Samsung Ace is powered by the Sprint Mobile Broadband Network and Windows Mobile 6. Thus, users in the US will get access to exclusive Sprint content, including Sprint TV and On Demand for the latest updates on sports, weather, money and general news.
Besides, the Samsung Ace offers Quad-band capabilities and thus operates on CDMA and GSM/GPRS networks, wherever Sprint has international roaming agreements. Sprint customers will be able to make or receive calls in around 180 countries, besides being able to surf the Web and sync their Outlook calendar in over 100 countries.
The Samsung Ace smartphone measures 4.65″ x 2.32″ x 0.46″ and weighs a little less than four ounces.

The Samsung Ace smartphone will be available in the US via Sprint in March 2008, for a price of $199.99 with a two-year service agreement and $100 mail-in-rebate. But, sans the rebates, you can get this smartphone for $499.99 in the US.
