If you craved for a touch screen phone from your favourite carrier and phone brand then here it is! Verizon Wireless and Motorola have together announced the full-touch flip phone – Motorola Krave ZN4.

The phone features two layers of touch sporting a clear transparent flip on the outside and a 2.8 inch full-touch screen on in the inside, much like the Moto Ming. It also a side lock key for preventing accidental usage.

“Motorola Krave is uncompromising. It delivers high-quality multimedia experiences while remaining true to the way consumers expect a phone to work and feel,” said Ken Hallman, vice president, Motorola Mobile Devices. “The clear, touch-enabled flip over the large, high-resolution touch-screen is nothing like you’ve seen and yet it’s totally intuitive.”

Krave ZN4 provided by Verizon Wireless will come with the standard Verizon offerings like the V CAST Mobile TV, V CAST Video, V CAST Music with Rhapsody and VZ Navigator.

With V CAST Mobile TV and V CAST Video users will get access to broadcast full-length TV shows, clips of sports highlights, breaking news, entertainment, weather and more.

The V CAST Music with Rhapsody puts 5 millions songs at subscriber’s service; ready for full-song downloads over the air, or download of the master copy of songs via PC using a USB cable.

VZ Navigator offers directional instructional for variety of destinations including business and point of interests plus the advantage of sharing the same with others.

Then there is the Visual Voice Mail feature which helps one do functions like delete, reply and forward voice mail messages without having to listen to any voice instructions or messages.

Other than the Verizon services, Krave comes with a 2.0 megapixel camera that has a camera dedicated key for itself on the handset. Also the camera gets the support of the accelerometer that automatically switches on the landscape or portrait mode as per the position of the phone.

Like all the music centric Motorola phones, Krave ZN4 too comes with enabled with Bluetooth stereo technology for listening to music. Other features include expandable memory via 8 GB MicroSD card, 3.5 mm headset jack, virtual QWERTY keypad, Bluetooth wireless pairing for headsets, hands-free for car kits, dial-up networking, stereo, phonebook access, basic printing and imaging, object push for vCard, and file transfer.

Motorola Krave ZN4 phone has been priced at $149.99 after a mail-in rebate of $50 with a two year contract. Verizon’s services including V CAST Mobile TV, V CAST Video and V CAST Music with Rhapsody range from $13.00 to $15.00 per month; Visual Voice Mail for $2.99 monthly. VZ Navigator is available for $9.99 monthly fee.
