Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 Windows Mobile based Smartphone announced

At the ongoing Mobile World Congress that is being held at Barcelona, Sony Ericsson has announced to launch its first Windows Mobile-based smartphone named Xperia X1. The new smartphone from Sony Ericsson is a slider style phone, and a QWERTY keyboard is revealed when one slides up the display.
The new Xperia X1 phone features a 3-inch clear wide VGA display, a 3.2 megapixel camera with Auto focus. Moreover, the new phone features Xperia panel interface that offers easy access to different things such as web, multimedia, applications etc. Also users can configure these panels according to their desire.
“This launch, and the announcement of the X1, further strengthens the overall Sony Ericsson brand and places us at the forefront of mobile convergence,” Dutta added.
For navigation, users are provided with different ways of navigation like Touch, full QWERTY keyboard, 4-way key and optical joystick navigation. Furthermore the Xperia X1 offers some next generation features like high data transfer rate (HSDPA/HSUPA), WiFi support. Also the phone supports AGPS.
However, pricing and availability information of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X1 Mobile Phone has not yet been revealed as of now.
