Apple iPhone All tech-savvies are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the 3G iPhone. Price slashes of the iPhone in UK and Germany strongly indicate about the coming in of the 3G model.

To give another hint of the much awaited version, O2 has confirmed the iPhone’s unavailability in UK, according to several reports. Both, the 8GB as well as the 16GB models have apparently sold out.

Reportedly, O2 has sold out the iPhone in UK and there are less chances of restocking the popular handset. Speculations further say that instead of the regular iPhone, the stock will be refilled with the 3G version.

Not only tech savvies but experts too including AT&T had earlier predicted 3G iPhone’s arrival in 2008. While Bank of America had released a report indicating that Apple could be launching the 3G iPhone by the second quarter of this year.

However, no definite date of the 3G iPhone launch has been declared by Apple as yet.
