As though Apple and Nike’s initiative wasn’t enough to take you to the gym, now Samsung and Adidas have got together to roll out the miCoach workout tracking system. Users can get accurate feedback about their workout activities with the miCoach system, which blends the miCoach phone with a heart rate monitor and a step counter.

With SGH-F110 miCoach, users are offered several targets, such as a certain period elapsing or asking the user to pace their progress further to achieve a desired level.

All the information that the miCoach system reads will be stored on the phone itself, and can later be checked, or uploaded to the miCoach fitness website.

Eric Liedtke, Vice President of Adidas Brand Marketing said, “miCoach is the most advanced interactive training system in the marketplace, blending sophisticated mobile technology with the most advanced in sport innovation and training.” Liedtke added, “The uniqueness of miCoach is that it collects and analyzes personal data and then customizes training plans based on your fitness level and specific goals, while giving you real-time feedback during your workout via the miCoach phone.”

The phone which is available in seven attractive colors, including Dark Gray, Tech Silver, Pink Red, Cool Gray, Sapphire Blue, Misty Blue, and Sweet Pink, features a 1GB memory capacity along, an integrated 2MP camera on the back of the slider portion, quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz) measuring 101.5mm x 45mm x 14.5mm. The slider phone has a 2-inch display, is Bluetooth compatible and includes an MP3 player to match your steps with the music beats.

SGH-F110 miCoach will hit stores across the European market in mid-March. No details on the price of product are known as of now.
