CAT Exam Results to be available via Rediff’s Exclusive SMS Service, in India

Rediff logo Going through the entire pre-results anxiety is surely a tough emotion to deal with. And this is worsened further when you log on to the respective site to only find out that either the sit crashed or possibly your internet connection is slow or worst of all – it gets disconnected. However, India’s leading internet portal Rediff.com has come up with a service that would make the lives of most MBA aspirants in the country, relatively simpler.

All the students who have appeared for their CAT (Common Aptitude Tests) exams in 2007 will now be able to access their results exclusively via Rediff’s short code SMS service on 8th January, from 3 p.m. onwards.

All that a student needs to do is simply key in CAT along with their ‘test registration number’ followed by the ‘application number’ and send the SMS to 57333. And within no time, the students will receive his/her result on the mobile.

Another way to get the result is by entering CAT along with the ‘Test registration number’ followed by the ‘Date of birth’ in (DDMMYY format), and the results will be displayed instantaneously.

In case, the students need any help in accessing their results, they can simply send an SMS - ‘CAT’ to 57333.

Rediff’s special CAT results’ service will be available to mobile subscribers across all operators. While BSNL customers will be charged Rs. 1/- per SMS, premium SMS charges of Rs 3/- per message will be applicable for subscribers across all other operators.

So all MBA aspirants around the country, get off your PCs and get ready to receive your results by just sending a simple SMS!
