Nokia N96 smartphone gears up for a US release

Nokia N96 US The most recent member in Nokia’s revolutionary NSeries range, the Nokia N96 has finally been unveiled for the US. Cited as Nokia’s flagship multimedia computer, the entertaining phone packed with clever features is all set to wow the US audience.

With an amazing 2.8″ display, the N96 comes with a 5-megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, 16GB of internal memory, optional microSD card for up to 24Gb additional memory, turn-by-turn voice navigation, best of the breed sound and music quality, N-Gage gaming and potential to store up to 40 hours of video content transferred from a PC.

The Nokia N96 multimedia handset also supports hi-speed USB 2.0 connection. WLAN and HSDPA along with video format support for MPEG-4, Windows Media Video and Flash Video. Integrated 3D stereo speakers with a smart ‘kickstand’ on the back cover let you enjoy all the content hands-free. Navigation features of the N96 include easy-to-use maps loaded with urban detail, satellite views and an option of three months free voice guided turn-by-turn navigation.

For a price of nearly $895, the Nokia N96 can now be availed through open channels in the United States along with Nokia Flagship stores in New York and Chicago, independent retailers and e-tailers and on the Nokia website.
