Spice S-950 and C-810 Mobile Phones announced in India

Spice Mobiles has introduced two new 3G CDMA (CDMA2000 and WCDMA) phones in the Indian market namely S-950 and C-810.
The S-950 model is based on Qualcomm’s Mobile Station Modem MSM6245 chipset solution. This 3G (WCDMA) slider phone supports wideband services like high-speed Internet, high resolution video and enhanced quality image transmission with the same quality as fixed networks. Moreover, it is equipped with 2MP camera, 262K colour screen, music player (mp3/AAC/AAC+), stereo Bluetooth, built-in stereo FM radio, video playback, JAVA, expandable memory support along with backward compatibility with EDGE / GPRS / GSM.
Also the S-950 phone comes along with value added content and applications like the Google Search engine, Opera mini Browser, NGPay application for banking/ticketing etc. Jannat, a new Bollywood blockbuster also comes preloaded with the S-950.
On the other hand the Spice Mobile C-810 is based on the QSC6020 chipset from the Qualcomm Single-Chip (QSC) family of solutions. Extended battery life is the key feature of the phone, the battery rates life of 15-day standby / 10-hour talk-time. A large 2.2-inch display screen, 1.3MP camera, Music Player (mp3/AAC), in-built FM radio video player, Bluetooth, BREW and expandable memory support are salient features of the phone.
He further added, “The Indian CDMA market has been limited to operator dependent handsets. We take pride to be the first again to offer open market CDMA handsets. We remain focused on delivering long term value to our consumers thus widening our global footprints.”
The prices of the S-950 and C-810 phones have not been announced as of now.
