BenQ has launched the BenQ C36 handset, a successor to the BenQ C30 phone. The latest phone has the capability of playing music as well as videos.

The BenQ C36 can play MP3, WAV, MIDI and AMR formats. Further it supports AVI video format. Built-in FM radio is an additional advantage of the BenQ C36. A quick access to FM radio, MP3 player and camera are provided too in the phone.

The BenQ C36 mobile phone features a 2-inch LCD display and 1.3-megapixel camera that supports AVI video recording. When connected to the computer, this camera can also act as a webcam.

The C36 can also be used as an e-book reader or photo editor for touching up the photos. To enhance entertainment the latest phone comes with dual speaker, while, connectivity is achieved through a MicroSD card and a USB.

The BenQ C36 mobile phone will be available in Indonesia in May followed by other countries soon.
