Aircel, India’s fifth largest GSM mobile service provider has teamed up with the world’s largest handset maker Nokia. The two have entered into a commercial partnership to provide pre-paid bundled offers to customers across the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

Under this partnership, Aircel pre-paid Starter packs (SPs) will be available free on purchase of certain Nokia handsets, and that too this will be available at best-buy prices!

Here is a list of Nokia mobile phones that fall under this deal with Aircel:

Nokia 1110i for a best-buy price of Rs.1699

Nokia 1112 for a best-buy price of Rs.1849

Nokia 2310 for a best buy price of Rs.2499

Aircel’s Special Packs have a 2-year validity period along with free Talk Value that ranged from Rs.300 to Rs.600 depending on which Nokia handset is chosen.

For instance, consumers will get free talk value worth Rs.300 on purchase of the Nokia 1110i and Nokia 1112 mobile phones. Rs.50 will be credited on the 1st of every month for 6 months from the immediate month that follows after activation.

Consumers will get free talk value worth Rs.600 on the Nokia 2310 model. In this case, Rs.50 will be credited on the 1st of every month for 12 months from the immediate month that follows after activation.

Subscribers are also entitled for the “Night Speak” facility (that of calling Aircel mobiles in Tamil Nadu at 39 paise per minute between 10.00pm and 8.00am) and “Add-on Facility” (that of choosing 2 Aircel numbers for which calls will be charged at 20 paise per minute).

The Aircel-Nokia bundled offers will be marketed through Nokia delaers and retauil outlets in Tamil Nadu, India.
