Samsung Telecommunications America announced on January 8, 2007 that it is working with 20th Century Fox to design a limited edition “The Simpsons Movie” collectible mobile phone.

As it is the news that there would be a The Simpsons movie, gave all us fans of the yellow fellows of Springfield, a reason to smile. Now, this is surely one more reason to be real happy.

The Simpsons limited collectible mobile phone will be based on Samsung’s slimmest and most advanced phones. It will of course, be yellow in color, inside and out, and will feature The Simpsons Movie logo with the words, “Special Edition.”

The Simpson Movie phone from Samsung will also come pre-loaded with exclusive movie content from The Simpsons Movie.

The Simpsons Movie will premier on July, 27, 2007, where there will be an announcement about The Simpsons Movie phone, as well as other related Samsung promotions related to the movie.

“Samsung is excited to be a part of the The Simpsons Movie with a collectible phone that embodies The Simpsons,” said Dale Sohn, President, Samsung Telecommunications America. “The Simpsons Movie is a highly anticipated event that is sure to reach millions globally.”
