Vodafone McLaren Mercedes 770SH, GX29 and SGH-Z720M handsets launched by Vodafone
On January 15, Vodafone announced that it has come out with a range of three new exclusive special edition consumer handsets to support the official launch of the new Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team in Valencia. The range of Vodafone McLaren Mercedes handsets is bound to excite F1 fans, and comprises the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes 770SH (3G), the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes GX29 (2G), and the 3G Vodafone McLaren Mercedes SGH-Z720M.
“These new exclusive special edition consumer handsets offer our customers a unique opportunity to get closer to the new Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team, accessing exclusive pictures and latest news throughout the Formula 1 racing season through Vodafone live!”, said Frank H. Rövekamp, Global Chief Marketing Officer Vodafone. “Both Sharp and Samsung have helped us deliver innovative and unique handsets that will help our customers make the most of their time.”
The Vodafone McLaren Mercedes 770SH (3G) and the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes GX29 (2G) are two clam shell mobile phones that have been manufactured by Sharp. The Vodafone McLaren Mercedes GX29 mobile phone is a 2G Vodafone live! Handset that is based on the renowned GX29 clamshell design. The Vodafone McLaren Mercedes 770SH, which is a 3G mobile phone also features a 1.3 mega pixel camera.
The 3G broadband slider Vodafone McLaren Mercedes SGH-Z720M offers its users extremely fast access to multimedia services like Mobile TV and full track music downloads. Besides, users also gain faster speed while downloading music and video files, as well as high download speed of e-mails when using the handset as a modem for laptops. Besides, the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes SGH-Z720M mobile phone also features a 3 mega-pixel camera with auto focus.
The design of the three new Vodafone McLaren Mercedes handsets all reflect the new team identity as well as car design. They all feature a chrome silver cover with highlights in the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team ‘rocket’ red colour.

The new Samsung Z720M is truely the ultimate in design and style, and I look forward in getting one on contract, when I can find one that does this model.

I have the Samsung Z729M Vodafone McLaren Mercedes, my screen has gone on it and cant get it to work, i can turn it on but the screen is blank and dark. I have opened it up as i thought it might have been the ribbon has slipped but it is still the same. Can you tell me how to fix it or where i can take it to get it fixed.
