In November, we reported about the launch of the Nokia N82, the Finnish giant’s latest entrant in its popular Nseries. Now, the N82, which is optimized fror photography, navigation and Internet connectivity is available in India.

The Nokia N82 mobile phone features a 5 mega pixel camera with Xeon Flash and Carl Zeiss optics. Other features include A-GPS which enables users to find their way with navigation and routing, and Internet connectivity which enables users to browse the Web, play games and chat online with Web 2.0 capabilities.

The 5 mega pixel camera is the highlight of the N82, as it allows user to click pictures even in low light conditions. Fast camera activation, autofocus with a dedicated autofocus assist lamp, fast reloading between shots and DVD-like video quality complete the camera-related features of the Nokia N82.

The N82 handset offers A-GPS and comes pre-installed with Nokia Maps, assisting users when they explore and try to locate new places in India or even abroad. Moreover, the N82’s standard sales kit comes with a free choice guided navigation trial for just three months, after which users will have to purchase additional features like city guides.

Nokia N82 allows users to upload their images on online communities with high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity. Users can also watch a slideshow of images complete with music and effects on the phone’s high-resolution display or even on a compatible TV.

The Nokia N82 comes with a content driven 3D multimedia menu that includes a convenient orientation sensor that rotates the user interface automatically between horizontal and portrait mode. The phone also supports the recently launched Ovi family of services.

The Nokia N82 mobile phone is immediately available in India for a price of Rs.28,379.
