New iPhone 1.1.2 Jailbreak Software Released; Hacked already
A 160MB update has been posted by Apple for its iPhone device, thereby upgrading its software now to version 1.1.2.
The latest 1.1.2 update is the very first iPhone software that offers International supports, and is being distributed concurrently with the phone’s European sale. In addition, you can adjust region formats for date, time and phone numbers.
Also, the new update will display the phone’s battery charge in iTunes, a new “Custom” section for ringtones, and a few other changes.
All the same, while this story was posted, there was news doing the rounds of the internet that stated that update 1.1.2 has already been cracked.

“New iPhone 1.1.2 Software Released” would be an appropriate title for this article. “New iPhone 1.1.2 Jailbreak Software Released” is not, however, because there is no evidence here that any jailbreak software has been released. If an article’s title says “Jailbreak Software Released,” you expect it to have a link or at least some type of substantive information about a jailbreak, not just the rumor that a one may or may not exist.
