Nokia ties up with Network 18 for Live News

Nokia ties up with Network 18 Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia has reportedly tied up with CNN-IBN, a Network 18 Group news channel in India.

Under this partnership, CNN-IBN will provide real time news in the form of videos on select Nokia handsets for absolutely no cost at all.

According to a release issued by Nokia, initially, the news service will be available on Nokia N95 and N95-8GB handsets.

In a separate release altogether, Nokia has supposedly announced the launch of three more handsets in India. However, which models they are and how much they cost is yet unknown.

According to Raghuvesh Sarup, product head (mobile phones), Nokia India, “Nokia continuously works towards gaining deeper insights into the needs and aspirations of consumers. “

“We put our understanding into practice by developing products that are rich in functionality, easy-to-use and have a strong element of design,” Sarup confirmed.

Sarup also added that the newly introduced phones belong to the entry-level to the high-end categories.
