Sony Ericsson S500, T650 and T250 Super-Slim Phones Launched
Sony Ericsson has introduced three new mobile phones, the new ones to hit the uber-slim phones market.
“It’s the small details that set these phones apart. Our designers have taken inspiration from nature to produce phones that are beautiful and alive with energy. They appeal to those that want to celebrate their individuality and express themselves through their choice of phone,” said Najmi Jarwala, president, Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications (USA) Inc.

In addition, there are color themes and illuminations that change to reflect the passing seasons and the change from night to day. The quad-band (GSM 850/900/1800/1900) phone should be out in North America by the third quarter of this year.
The second phone launched by Sony Ericsson is the T650 phone in midnight blue which sports a more common candy bar design. It is 0.55 inch thick and comes in midnight blue and a shade called growing green.

Though the T650 is a 3G phone, it supports only the 2100 UMTS network that’s not used in the United States. The triband (GSM 900/1800/1900) handset also should see the light of day by the third quarter of 2007.
And the last in the trio is the Sony Ericsson T250 phone; a simple candy bar form factor is 0.51 inch thick and is adorned in a metal shell that comes in black or silver.

Two dualband versions of the Sony Ericsson T250 phone will be available (GSM 900/1900 and GSM 850/1900), and it should hit stores across Europe and North American by Q2 of 2007.
The company also introduced the P1 smart phone and a new Bluetooth headset, the HBH-DS970.
