HTC Shift, P6500 and S730 Smartphones announced

HTC, one of the leading providers of Windows Mobile-based smart devices has announced three new handsets. They are the HTC Shift, HTC S730 and the HTC P6500. All of them showcase a tailored range of capabilities to support different types of users and powerful, feature-rich mobile messaging.
The HTC Shift smart device with its always connected 3G/HSDPA connectivity delivers unparalleled functionality in a sleek and compact design. The HTC Shift weighs just 800g. It sports a 7-inch touch sensitive ‘slide-n-tilt’ screen. This phone supports Windows Vista operating system and push email.
The HTC S730 is an enhanced version of the hugely successful HTC S710 handset that was launched earlier this year. Now, the HTC S730 handset adds on 3G/HSDPA connectivity and a 400 MHz processor that allows users to connect at high speeds.
This stylish handset features an auto-sliding QWERTY keyboard that makes it a perfect choice for professionals who require easy access to email, messaging and the Internet while on-the-go.
The HTC S730 handset which has a sleek gun metal grey casing comes equipped with Windows Mobile 6 and 256MB of Flash memory.
The HTC P6500 handset has a 3.5-inch screen and also supports 3G/HSDPA connectivity and GPS. The phone offers 256MB of internal memory with the option to add up to 1GB in addition to two external SD card slots.
The HTC Shift and HTC P6500 handsets will be available form November 2007 onwards, while the HTC S730 handset will be available in October 2007.
